The Position: The Accounting Support Clerk primarily performs Receiving, A/P Invoice Entry, and Sales Order entry duties as well as a variety of accounting related activities that support the accounting function at Valid Manufacturing. Assist in the Accounts receivable process Perform general accounting duties to support our team. Skills & Abilities: Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be a strong team player when interacting with employees and different departments Required to be detail-orientated, well organized and have good trouble shooting skills Work requires prioritizing to meet deadlines Able to interpret and make decisions regarding the coding of accounts payable invoices Analyze and explain discrepancies in both the Accounts Payable and Sales Order entry functions Ability to recognize inconsistencies, identify root cause and resolve as required Carries out duties with limited supervision. Requirements: Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent. Office administration or Accounting/Bookkeeping Certificate is an asset 1 – 2 years of previous related experience Must be computer literate with solid math, MS Excel and Word skills Production, Logistics and Shipping experience considered an asset Willingness to contribute and participate as part of the team. Works with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Working Conditions: Open to positive and constructive feedback.
