The Electrical / Mechanical Assembler performs a wide variety of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic assembly duties related to the manufacture of Valid Manufacturing Ltd. Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical products. This individual will follow guidance and direction from senior assembly and production employees, and provides assistance and support as part of the team.

Responsibilities:
• Mechanical and pneumatic assembly, electrical or electronics component installation.
• Wiring and testing of electrical product assemblies.
• Keep accurate and legible time records on travelers and in the time collection system.
• Maintain workspace, tools and equipment in a safe, clean and neat condition.
• Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
• Must be able to plan, organize and efficiently complete assigned tasks.
• Work requires ability to repetitively perform high quality work by paying attention to details.

• Define, monitor, update, and review the certification labelling process.

• Communicates and collaborates with other departments to coordinate work.

Responsibilities:
• Oversees the Electrical Engineering team

• Installation, wiring and assembly of power distribution kiosks and enclosures. Inspects, monitors and verifies work performed to assure compliance and completion within appropriate standards and regulations.
• Follows kiosk electrical distribution layouts and recommended changes as necessary.

• Maintains workspace, tools and equipment in safe, clean and neat condition.
• Provides guidance to Electrical/Mechanical Assemblers.

The Powder Coating Applicator will work under supervision and direction of the Production Supervisor and is responsible for the preparation of materials and application of coatings. This role is responsible for ensuring high quality finish of our powder coated products.

Responsibilities:

• Applies powder as per specifications and ensures quality of finish throughout the powder coating process.
• Participates in and oversees material preparation through pretreatment dip tanks.
• Applies masking for multi-color applications
• Prepares equipment
• Manages loading and unloading of oven to facilitate smooth material flow.
• Keeps work area clean and organized; assist as required in the daily maintenance of equipment.

Skills & Abilities:

The Electrical Product Engineer/ Technologist is responsible for the design & development of new products as well as the support of existing product lines. This person schedules and manages several projects simultaneously, all while interacting closely with several departments within Valid™.

Responsibilities:

• Defines product specifications guiding a design group.
• Develops new products by using available technologies.
• Prepares electrical drawings complying with industry codes and standards.
• Provides calculations off various design and performance criteria.
• Generates product service and operational documentation.
• Acts as a technical resource to the Estimating Department in preparing proposals.
• Maintains design schedule ensuring that information is available for production to achieve delivery dates.
• Schedules and supervises projects including tracking of critical items.
• Supervises junior designer as needed.
Skills & Abilities:
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be a strong team player.
• Required to be detail-orientated, well organized and have good time management skills.
• Work requires flexibility and adaptability in constantly changing situation. Must have positive attitude and ability to deal with setbacks.
